The Data engineer will be responsible for transforming data into an unified format that can be easily analyzed and usable by predictive models.. They do this by collecting, curating, and normalizing data across various sources. Data Engineer will also develop and maintain APIs so that the data is accessible via APIs to other layers of the LodgIQ – UI, Data Science and Data Integration layers.
Develop integrations across various vendors to collect and maintain data. Interfaces can be API bases (REST / JSON), file based (FTP/ SFTP) or reading third party websites.
This person will also develop interfaces to push data out using third party websites (e.g. OTA or brand.com sites)
The position combines elements of programming and digital design, a UI developer requires specialized training in all areas to deliver quality products and services. UI developers also need to have a detailed understanding of coding and transfer the brand’s strengths through the interface of a product.
